SPRING IS COMING!

Here’s a preview as seen through Van Gogh’s eyes.

Title: Peach Tree, 1888

Artist: Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890)

White buds explode against the heavenly blue sky, while below the ground seems to vibrate in an earthquake of light and color, only the red rush fence in the back seems to be earthbound. In March and April of 1888, Van Gogh, almost delirious with the excitement and energy of spring, created this painting along with a wonderland of apricot, plum. and pear orchards, sometimes working on nine canvasses at a time. But the peach trees were his favorites, painting them twice during those memorable months.

More visions of spring coming soon!
