Vincent van Gogh’s career only lasted about 10 years during which he produced approximately 2,000 works of art. Yet, to comprehend his incredible artistic journey and vision, I decided to juxtapose one of his earliest drawings with a late painting done near the end of his life. The first created in 1881 at Etten, in his home country of the Netherlands, and the second during the summer of 1890 at Auvers in France.
