Arts Everyday Living: Seeing Creatively Through an Artist’s Eyes-New World with Impressionists

Happy New Year!  How would you like to start 2023 in a new, creative way?

Every Wednesday and Saturday, we will be posting an installment of our book, Through an Artist’s Eyes: Learning to Live Creatively offering you a pathway to art and the vision of the artist. Enabling you to develop your own inner creativity and apply it to the personal cycle of everyday living.

II. Journey to Art

A New World

So has your world started to change for you? Do you feel as if you are living your life more creatively? Do you awaken with more enthusiasm for the coming day? Is the light brighter? And are you more observant and aware of what exists beyond yourself? How about your fellow human beings as well as the landscape, both natural and artificial? Can you sense a rhythm, a flow, an essence of that unexplainable condition or state we define as life?

Have you found a specific artist to be your guide in your journey to art and personal and spiritual creativity? Or have you chosen a number of artists? Always be open to expanding your horizons, exploring different artists and unfamiliar artistic experiences. Remember that artists themselves rarely stand still, but continue to grow and develop their visions of life.

For instance, would you like to explore the works of some other Impressionists from a variety of countries?

Camille Pissarro (1830-1903) French

Alfred Sisley (1839-1899) French

Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) French

Joaquin Sorolla (1863-1923) Spanish

Childe Hassam (1859-1935) American
