Title: Still Life with Flowers, 1881

Artist: Henri Fantin-Latour (1836-1904)

In anticipation of New Year’s, pause and reflect upon the floral masterpiece above by French artist Henri Fantin-Latour, flower specialist of the first degree. He lived in Paris during a particularly creative period; among his colleagues and friends were artistic pioneer Edouard Manet and Impressionist Berthe Morisot, among others.

Colors abound in this festive arrangement, reminding us to live each day with positivity and hope.
