Early Modern artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) is one of Austria’s most prominent artists, universally known for The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer; novelist John Fowles (1926-2005) with the publication of The Collector, The Magus, and The French Lieutenant’s Woman has won both critical and popular fame.
