The iconic paintings of French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840-1926) are celebrated throughout the world, from boating scenes along the Seine River, filled with sparkling sunlight to  dramatic seascapes to enchanting waterlilies.  However, some of his works are not as well known such as the apple trees above, rich with vibrant multi-colors or the petite young girl below, standing rather demurely in a garden with her pet dog.
