Austrian artist Egon Schiele (1880-1918) and his mentor Gustav Klimt are were two leading creative forces in the Viennese arts world in the first decades of the 20th century. Schiele produced a variety of subjects, from portraits and self-portraits to interpretations of nature such as the vibrant Field of Flowers above.
