Have you heard of American artist George Copeland Ault?  Although born in Ohio in 1891, Ault was raised in England where he received his initial art training.  Returning to the United States at 20, Ault mainly lived in New York, first in the city but later moving to the countryside of Woodstock where he created his most memorable works, including the haunting work above.
