William Wordsworth, Lyrical Ballads
Japanese artist Ito Jakuchu (1715-1800) created the incomparable 30 panel silk scroll master work, Colorful Realm of Living Beings, during the Edo period. The personal and expressive Lyrical Ballads* of English poet William Wordsworth (1770-1850) helped to launch the Romantic period in art.
