Paul Gauguin, Notes Synthethiques

Before French Post-Impressionist Paul Gauguin (1848-1903) journeyed to Tahiti seeking new visions, he stayed with his friend and colleague Vincent van Gogh in Arles, France in autumn, 1888.  The two often painted together, throughout the city and surrounding countryside, leaving for posterity a memory of their time together.
