For the Art Circle group, here’s a blog on the art of shopping that we’ll be discussing on Tuesday. Let’s start at local shopping center, Pentagon City, inspired by the words of the Pop superstar, and approaching its advertising environment as if it were an art museum.
Taking a tour via its tower elevator and upscale escalators,

through its fashion galleries decorated for Valentine’s Day,

and department store exhibits,

where you can truly find art in a bottle,

——————————
and polar bears in an elevator.

Shoes, though, were a Warhol obsession, and still are popular with today’s shoppers, whether elegantly expensive,

or filling entire stores.
