Water is the mother of tea, a teapot its father, and fire the teacher.
Albert Anker (1831-1910) still remains one of his native Switzerland’s most popular artists, especially admired for his realist style, apparent in Tea Service above in which the pastries stacked on the side look good enough to eat.
